To receive discounts, you may be asked to show proof that you are a UM employee or student.

    Enjoy exclusive Brightline discounts when you create an account using your active university email. Visit the Brightline website for details on available discounts on SMART fares. The discount applies to rides between Orlando and South Florida only.

    BOOK NOW: Follow the steps below to create your Brightline account and purchase your rides.

    Step 1:

    • Create a NEW Brightline account using your University of Miami domain email
      • Domains: @miami.edu; @umiami.edu; @med.miami.edu; @law.miami.edu; @earth.miami.edu
    • Visit GoBrightline.com to create a NEW Brightline account.

     

    Step 2:

    • Be sure you’re logged into your Brightline account with your designated domain email
    • Book / purchase your ride and the discount is automatically applied at the last page / checkout.
    • The discount will apply to the total purchase price, including any passengers listed on the booking / reservation.
